CC-NorChip's services
CC-NorChips offers a range of services with the goal of providing Norwegian users with easier access to advanced technology, thereby increasing the competitiveness of Norwegian semiconductor companies. The services are aimed at all stakeholders: large companies, SMEs, startups, research institutes and academia.
For SMEs and startups, CC-NorChip can offer services up to a given amount completely free of charge.

Technology services for businesses
CC-NorChip offers services to help companies adopt advanced technology. The services depend on the need and examples are:

Market surveys on specific semiconductor technologies.

Consulting in the design of semiconductors and sensors.

Advice on fabrication options (prototyping, piloting, foundry).

Simple test and characterization assignments through NorFab.
Financing
Everything from start-ups to established companies may need financing of different types depending on the phase your company is in. CC-NorChip has a good overview of the various financing schemes for projects nationally and internationally, as well as venture capital, and can assist with advice on how to secure funds.








Access to design and fabrication
CC-NorChip offers both companies and researchers access to both national and international capacities. Through the EU, you can get access to a design platform, as well as several pilot lines specializing in the fabrication of specific semiconductor technologies. In Norway, CC-NorChip offers access to the national infrastructure for micro- and nanofabrication, NorFab.
Skills development and education
Education in semiconductors and chip technologies is offered through the university partners of CC-NorChip. CC-NorChip can provide thematic seminars and workshops for competence building in specific technologies. Please contact us if you would like such a seminar.

Awareness raising and outreach
In order for Norway to take a stronger position internationally in advanced semiconductor and chip technology, it is necessary to increase the awareness on the already important industry in Norway. CC-NorChip works broadly to promote Norwegian semiconductor technologies to politicians, the next generation of researchers and developers, and the general public.
