Technology services for businesses
Everything from start-ups to established companies may need financing of different types depending on the phase your company is in. CC-NorChip has a good overview of the various financing schemes nationally and internationally, and can assist with advice on how to secure funds.
Financing options
CC-NorChip offers both companies and research environments access to both national and international capacities. Through the EU, you have access to a design platform, as well as several pilot lines specializing in the fabrication of specific semiconductor technologies. In Norway, CC-NorChip offers access to the national infrastructure for micro- and nanofabrication, NorFab.
Access to design and fabrication
Education in semiconductor and microchip technologies is offered through the university partners in CC-NorChip. Competence development in specific technologies is offered through CC-NorChip.
Skills development and education
CC-NorChip is the Norwegian node in the European network of competence centers, aCCCess. Through this network, complementary competence is offered, access to events such as pitching events, and much more.
Network access
In order for Norway to take a stronger position internationally in advanced semiconductor and microchip technology, it is necessary to increase the awareness on the already important industry in Norway. CC-NorChip works broadly to promote Norwegian semiconductor technologies to politicians, the next generation of researchers and developers, and the general public.
